　カツノリの自主トレ相手は中学生？　昨秋トライアウトで楽天入りしたカツノリ捕手（３１＝前巨人）が、１月中旬に仙台で計画中の少年野球教室に参加する。主催者は「プロ選手と一緒に練習する形にしたい」と参加人数を抑え、地元小中学生とより密接な交流を図るべく交渉を進めている。自主トレ真っ最中のカツノリが、中学生と汗を流す可能性も十分ある。

　自主トレ相手が小中学生とは…。だが、その参加者が侮れない。０２年リトル選手権世界大会で準優勝した仙台東リーグ選抜の主力メンバーなのだ。来春には仙台育英など県内強豪校に進学予定の中学３年生もいる。

　近い将来、地域密着を掲げる楽天イーグルスが待ちわびる「地元選手」となる可能性も秘めた、若いひなドリばかり。まさに「一石二鳥」となるわけだ。

　カツノリも参加には積極的で、できる限りの注文に応えるつもりでいる。仙台市民との初交流に「ぼくは名前先行型ですが、協力できることならサイン会やキャッチボールでも、何でも来いです」と意欲満々。楽天が推進するファンサービスにも貢献できる。知名度も生かし、魅力あふれる球団づくりを目指す楽天の一員として、カツノリが動き回る。

お久しぶりです。元気にしてますか？
いつ以来でしょうか・・。
いろいろあってネットサーフィンもあまりしてませんでした。
去年、楽天ｖｓ阪神の試合を仙台まで
見に行きましたヨ。
双方の応援に不満はありましたが、
天気も雰囲気もそれなりによく、
牛タンも美味しかったです。
キャンプインしたことで、りっちゃんをはじめ
みんなのことを思い出し、ここに来ました。

またお会いする機会があれば
りっちゃんやKAZさんにお会いしたいです。
